Strike a Pose: Discover the Power of Vogue

If you’ve ever been curious about the fierce and fabulous world of Vogue dance, this is your moment.

Vogue is more than just a style – it's a cultural movement. Born from the Black and Latino LGBTQ+ ballroom scene in 1980s New York, Vogue is a dance form rooted in freedom, self-expression, and community. It's about sharp lines, dramatic poses, storytelling with your body, and celebrating every inch of who you are.

The style takes inspiration from fashion magazines like Vogue, where models would pose in high-fashion editorials. Dancers took that concept and made it dynamic, expressive, and powerful.

Of course, Madonna then brought Vogue into the mainstream with her iconic 1990 hit "Vogue" – a tribute to the underground ballroom scene and the queens who made it legendary. Her music video and performances introduced the world to the moves and magic of Vogue, opening the door for it to influence pop culture, fashion, and dance forever.

Now, it’s your turn.

We are running a Vogue inspired dance workshop with an amazing guest teacher – Yasmin Kabir. Expect energy, drama and to feel amazing!
